The IGCSE is a 2 year course undertaken in Grade 9 & 10. The IGCSE Art and Design course is comprised of 2 equally weighted components: a Externally Set Assignment (exam) and a coursework project. During the first year of the course, students will develop the necessary understanding and skills for each of these components. The emphasis in the IGCSE course is on process, development of technique, and first hand observation. Work can be undertaken and submitted in any media for the IGCSE.
